This page describes the experimental branch of GNU GRUB. It's a bit of a skel right now (feel free to improve it).
The experimental branch is a staging area where less tested (or more intrusive) changes are put before they are merged into trunk. Vladimir Serbinenko is in charge of this branch.

GRUB developers: If you want your branch to be merged into experimental, include a complete ChangeLog entry in a separate file (ChangeLog.<branch-name>), push it to /branches/<branch-name> and then seek approval from Vladimir (or from one of the maintainers) to have it merged.
